Dave, if you haven't already glassed the hull, do this before trying to remove the forms.

If you stripped both hull and deck, do what you can to shove some tape between deck and hull and lay a thin strip of tape along the seam - then glass being careful to remove the epoxied glass covering the tape before it sets.

I built the OI stapleless as well. Once I glassed the hull, I flipped it over, striped the deck and glassed it (with tape in between the deck and hull.)

I then used a screw driver inserted between deck and hull and started pounding with a hammer in the direction of the larger width. After the first couple of forms things started going easier.
