I haven't done anything with the kayak since coating it. Ran out of time before the river froze up. That said, initial coats went on well despite the black graphite background. I still need to apply two more coats to get a nice even color finish to hide the remaining black from the graphite. I did not notice anything different during application or with the existing cured coat on the VJ. The hex-BN looks good, seems to have provided the white graphite protection that we have been expecting. I'll be sure to get the VJ out on the ice pans come spring break up of ice on the river so that I can give it a proper test. THIS time, I promise not to break the hull on the ice before launching. ;)

Oh yeah, buy the larger cheaper particle size, there is no real need to get the 5 microm particle size, seemed too fine for use as an impregnated lube in epoxy.
