: I am presently building a CLC sport tandem kayak and I am wondering which
: rudder blade I should order. Since this kayak is only 22 inches wide,
: would a single kayak rudder blade be enough or a larger type(k2) be
: better?

Btw, depending on where you'll be paddling this boat and if you'll be steering with the rudder and where you'll be landing the boat, you may be better off with a thru the bottom rudder. They can be both much smaller and lower drag than a stern hung rudder and at a similiar weight (the thru the bottom rudder requires some structure inside the boat or would be much lighter) and they don't come out of the water anwhere near as much as a stern hung rudder does in waves. They are usually mounted from 25-30% of the overall length forward of the stern.
