: Home sick today so I have been playing in FreeShip some more. I have been
: trying to draw in bulkheads into the model.

dont try and draw them - they are output automatically by where you 'place' the stations in the ‘intersections’ section under ‘tools’(I think) - and you can place them wherever you want.

:While I can draw them and make
: them look right. I have to make them part of one of the side panels.

do not do this, you don't have to. do NOT try and draw the bulkheads.

: It's not a big deal if I can't. I can go in and create points where I want
: the bulkheads.

Also do not TRY to put the ‘points’ of the control grid in line with the eventual bulkheads. they do not relate to your bulkheads but only to the shape that you are attempting to draw.

if there is any concept to leave you with it is that freeship draws with pieces of surfaces. - you can add surfaces or break up surfaces, but that’s it (for now). The only similarity to drawing with lines is that you can manipulate the edge(s) of the surface(s) to possibly make lines or curves that you wish.
