Bill, the VJ will be ready for testing as soon as the river ice breaks up here...gimmie, ohhhhh...say three months before that happens. Then again, with windchill factored in, it's -46 here right now...add another month if temps stay so cool (I pray that doesn't happen). I am sure I will find ice and rock to run up and over to see how well the kayak holds out. I'll risk breaking the hull again, I have to, I need a tough kayak for this years leg of my big river trip - that happens during the first three weeks of June.
