Winter 1992, Spring 1993. Last I checked, Sea Kayaker sold article copies for $3.00 each.

Both Cunningham and Morris base a lot of their building methods on H.C. Petsersen's "Instruction in Kayak Building". I recommend this inexpensive book so that you can learn where each author added their own innovations. Petersen's book (which is the text used in some Greenland clubs to build kayaks) encourages original thought, as many steps are described but the details of how to achieve the results are left up to you. (Just like your old math text books: The solution is left as an exercise for the student...)

You can find information on Petersen's book at http://www.magicnet.net/~gstamer/QK.html.
