I think it felt pretty straight tracking to me, as well.

The 19" was the hips+2 fists measure. The boats that I tried that were in the 17-18" range felt uncomfortably "tippy", although I'm sure that's partially just something to get used to.

I would like to try your boat again. We would need major modifications to allow foot bracing, though. These are some short legs! I will be up for paddling this weekend. Email me if you'd like to get together.
