I live in Des Moines, IA. Where is this place with respect to Des Moines? Is Medberry the name of the town? Is it in Iowa? Do you have a phone number for this place?

Also, there is one place in Des Moines that has excellent redwood and cedar. The costs are as follows:

single board (3/4"x6"x20') clear redwood ($45)
single board (3/4"x8"x20') clear WRC ($60)

I am just trying to get the best deal.

: Scherer Bros Lumber stocks Aye grade Western Red Cedar (no knotts) and
: "Clear" Redwood to 20' at their Medberry store (I35W and HW 10).

: They a stock "D" grade WRC to 16' at their Washington Ave store.

: They sell by the BF, length doesn't matter. It's expensive, cost me about
: $140 for the 3 20" 2x4's (Aye grade) I used for my last canoe. It's
: nice stuff.

: The "D" costs less.

: The only down is they are only open business hours and till 12:00 on sat.

: There is also a yard in St Paul that carries nice cedar/redwood, but I can't
