chemical strippers
In Response To: Try a heat gun (Brian Nystrom)
There are paint strippers out there that are made for removing epoxy. Look for a good marine grade; you should be able to find one at any hardware store. When you apply it put a sheet of good quality paper towel over the top to keep it from evaporating so fast on you. If you use good paper towel you just lift it up and move it to the next section, it saves you a lot of stripping chemical, and you only need a few towels. If you use cheap towels you will need a lot of rolls and you waste a lot of stripping chemical that gets thrown away.
