Another thought here. You can get starter cord for chainsaws and lawnmowers. If you talk to the shop that sell this rope you may be able to buy the whole roll for a lot less than buying it as cut pieces. I have bought a roll of about one hundred feet for twenty dollars CDN. This line is no stretch, come in different colours and different sizes. I use it for tying my 18 foot canoe my roof racks. It is really a good product. I plan on using this cord for the safety deck lines on my Cape Ann and my North Star.
