I'd guess 100-150 hours on a stitch and glue, and 350 or up on a stripper, depending on the patterns you put into it.

A nice combination is a plywood hull and strip deck. If youre looking at the Chesapeke, it's not difficult to do at all. I cant comment on the Pygmy-type deck.
