I have just received an email from Joaquin Knierim in Germany who reports a footroom problem in his guillemot S&G. My feet are size 10 european (11-12 US), but being a cyclist and veteran swimmer, my feet naturally point downward at rest. It is uncomfortable for me to have them at right angles these days. When I am Kayaking my knees are spread out to brace and I only occasionally use the foot rests. So, when I reported having no problems with my Guillemot S&G, I didn't consider the possibility that having your long legs fully stretched out and upright might be a problem. I am going to rush home and try my Guillemot out for size just to see!

Hope like crazy you are thinking about a S&G guillemot and the gilmont isn't a design that I have overlooked. If it is, you should be looking at a guillemot anyway they are the 'bees knees' and I am only just slightly biased :d .
