Strip: Filler materials to fill small gaps.

I am working on inlaying a design on my Cape Ann and need advice on what to use to fill the small cracks that are visable after gluing. I was using a Japanese dozuki saw to cut the slots out of the hull. The inlay consists of dark cedar in 1/4 inch strips outlining the design. I need to fill white cedar and some dark brown red cedar. Epoxy and wood flour is just a little to dark for the white section. I will be using coloured dyes to high light the white portion of the wood. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Regards Erich
