Announce: Frames with the BBS

I have turned on the "frames" feature of the Bulletin Board. This puts the message index in permanent frame at the top of the window. You read the messages in the bottom frame.

I did this primarily to save bandwidth on my server. This keeps the server from having to regenerate the index page after posting a new message or even when you hit "back" after reading a long thread. This hopefully will save me some money. It should also speed things up a bit for those with slow connections. This does mean that if you post a message you will not see it added to the index unless you hit "Refresh " on your browser.

If you have a small screen that make the split window hard to read, or you just think it sucks, you can go back to the old system by setting your preferences accordingly.
