Unwilling to give up my side of the garage for the winter, but curious about building a kayak, I hit on the perfect solution. I've built 2 kayaks, 2 ft long each. The picture below is a skin on frame based on the article in the last Sea Kayaker. I have a stitch and glue Guillemot from the plans on the Guillemot web site. Lots of fun and you learn a bit about the general construction.
