A few days ago I burned out the motor on my radial arm saw which I had been using to rip strips for my next boat. The saw was free, but old, and apparently it just couldn't take it anymore. This has put me in the market for a new saw. Unfortunately, I have not located another free one. I have found a Craftsman 10 inch table saw that is about 10 or 12 years old. It has a one horsepower motor and a cast iron top with cast iron extensions. The current owner is asking $200. Does this seem like a fair price for a saw this old? Anyone out there with a similar model care to comment on how much they love/hate their saw?
