Epoxy: pin holes

Well I have decided that laying fiber glass is not one of those things that I was born to do, you know one of those thing that just come naturally, for me it always seems that I always fight it right up to the time glass turns to stone. it usually turns out ok, anyway I noticed something kinda cool, I glassed the inside hull thursday night till the wee hours and the epoxy was starting to kick so I opened the garage a little to let some cold air in hoping to retard cure time(its about 35 degrees)and it seemed to help, so I got the glass done left the heat off to cause the wood to retract so as to help eliminate air bubbles.
Friday afternoon went back in to the shop turned the heat back on and put a fill coat on, and left for the rest of the day. that night when I got home went to the shop to check on my pride and joy and there were to little air bubbles about 3/8 in dia on the hull, I would assume that ment that I have a couple of pin holes, it really surprised me to see that 20 degrees could make the wood expand that much. is this a good way to check for pin holes?

THNX John
