Skin-on-Frame: PVCer Deck King Question

Howdy all, and Happy Holidays,

I'm finally back in town and was able to complete fastening my PVC SOF stems. Used a simple bolt through the top PVC pipes of my I-beam gunwale with the PVC keel pulled up between them. Then I fastened it further with a metal strap secured to the keel in the center and the plywood middle of the I-beam.

I've also added the chine stringers - securing them to the ribs with cable ties.

Now my question: You may recall I'm modeling my boat after Putz. He has a "Deck King" stringer that goes on the top of the deck. Then there are stringers spaced between the Deck King and the gunwales. I figured I'd just fasten these deck stringers with the cable tie method, but am wondering if I need to secure the Deck King to the ribs in a stronger way (bolts/wing nuts are handy), or if cable ties would be fine.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
