If I didn't spend so much money on the plywood, this would be funny.
I set up my pieces to make the scarfs but for some reason, I had three inches on the brain. So, my 4mm wood now has a real fine and real long scarf. I went ahead and glued them together like this but I wanted to ask if this is going to weaken the joint or just will it be fine? I can't imagine too much glueing surface being a bad thing but, I wanted to ask.
BTW, I'm building Nick Schade's S&G hull with the strip deck from the Guillemot deck. I've juggled the S&G offsets around to best fit on a sheet of ply without the deck pieces. If anyone is interested in these numbers, I can email them to you. (Just the hull, not for the strip deck) It's the same pieces, just moved around.
