We leapt over a major hurdle today in the building of the Atlantic 19. The stripping is DONE!! Of course, this means that the tedium of fairing is about to begin. I put a mahogany outer stem on the bow, and will do the same in the stern after a quick trip to the lumberyard for more. I went around with a bit of dookie schmutz today filling in the obvious spots that needed some filler, and I'm sure that it won't be the last of the filler it will need before it's glassed. I didn't expect to finish the stripping today, so i didn't have the camera along at the shop to snap a digital image to share, but I'll snap one once a bit of fairing is done and it looks a little more presentable.
