All of you had some good points to consider. I like my scarf jig. It is like a miter box. I don't have to be carefull with the saw at all. I don't have the space to pre scarf them as boards. I like handling the shorter pieces for the bevels anyway. I don't cove them. We all seem to find a different way of working. Thanks again!
