S&G: Partial hull paint *Pic*

Well, I finally finished varnishing & painting my boat! Since there had been some discussion about painting part of the hull (usually the bottom) and leaving the rest bright, I figured I'd post a pic so folk could see one version of what that looks like. I like it, but my tastes may be weird :D

I painted the rub rails since I figured they'll be getting dinged up pretty often, and it'll be easier to do touch-up paint than a good varnish job.

I did take her out today, so that (relatively) pristine finish has it's first scratches. I'm glad I got THAT out of the way! ;) I was a bit annoyed at how quick it scratched on the deck from the "paddle park" (bungie near the bow under which paddle blade is shoved, a la Greenland deck rigging), but that's life :( No doubt there'll be plenty more in the near future.
