Hi Joe, as the others have alluded to: there will always be another boat to intruige you. Finish one and then suddenly a design that seemed unusual or too difficult will look interesting. Some builders hardly paddle at all (too dangerous ).
Much else to do? Well, I'm getting ready to build a computer armoire for my wife; same tools/different cuts. These days you can learn anything from a book.
Boatbuilding is a great hobby - partly because it's pretty easy, partly because the result is so beautiful. Subscribe to Wooden Boat Magazine www.woodenboat.com, clear a space in the garage and indulge.
