Have found a good source for wood in central NC. The Hardwood Store of NC in Gibsonville. They are a wood only store and the personnel will spend time with you to sort through the supply. Additionally, they are also inclined to rip some pieces to provide just the width needed, or dress the lumber, at no charge. I have purchased wrc 2x4 that are virturally clear. They have lengths 14-16 feet in length.

Also a good supply of pine, mahogany, maple, cherry, etc. Just think good service deserves a "plug".
