The pictures dont do Joe's work justice at all. The leaf patterns are inlaid through the deck, and the hull is all grain-matched. It is really a beautiful boat!

I didnt paddle it at R2K1, I was afraid I'd have to build one and I already have a project on the strongback. I am thinking of applying the low aft coaming technique though... and the day hatch. Very effective and well done!
