I redesigned my kayak on bearboat software to it track better, and cut through the water better. I also made it more Swede form than the first one. I changed enough things on it that I wouldn't even consider it to be the same kayak. I'm calling the new design "Swede", probably because I don't feel very creative in the name department lately.

I like Joe Greenley's King so much that I had already decided I was going to build it before going on another venture building an unproven kayak so I
thought I would put the new design on the back burner and build it some day.

As luck would have it, a friend of mine from work (Wade) contacted me saying he wanted to build the kayak I had designed (Dream Weaver). I told him I redesigned
it, but also let him know it would be his gamble if he built it. I told him that the King and others were great kayaks and he could build one of those or he could build mine. He decided he wanted to build mine because he liked the look of it and the thought of having a one of a kind kayak.

Anyway, Wade & I and our sons took a ride to Port Angeles on Sunday to look at Joe's work and for me to buy the King plans. After seeing Joe's beautiful work, Wade is now addicted.

The only problem now is I have to hurry up and get some more of the house remodeling done so I can start cutting forms.
