In Response To: Seeking: How-to Cane Seats (Stephan Bradley)
I built seats that had a contoured shape - the difficulty with amything that is not a rectangle (even somewhat tricky with a rectangle if you're new to caning -which I was) is the diagonals. I solved this problem by leaving the diagonals out (called an open weave). It looks really nice and was WAY easier. I will email a picture.
