This is my experience around epoxy allergic reactions. I worked in a model department for 30 years with 12 people that brushed or pored epoxy several times a day. Some were very careful by wearing throw away gloves, washing in alcohol and then soap and water while others never took any precautions. The allergic reactions were from severe to minor, to none. All of the reactions were in the form of poison ivy type blisters. We use many types of epoxies but one called RP-1710 laminating epoxy cause most of the problems. I got blisters between my fingers even though I was very careful but I was able to manage my exposure. Two of my friends got the blisters all over their body, in their mouth and hair and had to completely get away from epoxy work. Thankfully we had a very good ventilating system that sucked the fumes down through a grate on our epoxy working table so they never reached our face and lungs.
