S&G: WGW Constructon Day 5

Right after the superbowl I went down to the basement to check on the last fiberglass job I did yesterday. Everything seemed fine though the plywood was hard to peel off the hard plastic I had underneath and on on join the bottom plywood skin peeled off about 1 square inch.

Flipped the planks over and prepared for the last fiberglass job for these butt joins. Everything went smoothly although I hope I won't have any more plywood sticking too strongly to the plastic underneath.

Next thing will be to make a drill jig and drill holes in all of the planks, then stitching the construction and hot glue the seams. What I don't understand is what the hot glue is for? Is it so that it keeps some sort of form for the actual fiberglass joinery ?
