This accessory is an alternative to featherboards on a router table. The spring is provided by the natural springiness in the wood, with a little help from three asymmetrically mounted 1/8" spacers. One spacer is located at each end between the outer strip and the middle one, and the third is in the middle between the second and third. There is a slight chamfer not exactly visible on each end of the first strip. If you can't squint small enough to see them, and you are running Windows, hit Start-Programs-Accessories-Accessibility-Magnifier.

It is easy and fast to set up, and maintains constant pressure on a strip against the fence all the way through the pass. I used to bugger up the first and last 6" of each strip using feather boards, but this tool reduces waste. It took about 5 minutes to cut and glue it up out of a scrap of 1x4. The vertical feather boards were omitted for clarity, I might try these guys out there too.
