I'm ready to 'glass the bottom of the hull over and I want to use the carbon graphite powder from the waterline down. I know not to mix it in when I wet out the 'glass but, should I use it for all of my fill coats after or, fill the weave, sand it smooth and put another coat with the graphite in it then?
I think using it in the fill coats would be a good idea but, how would I get a nice line down the side of the boat? Should I fill the sides first with clear epoxy and tape off the bottom and fill it seperatly? I'm only planning on graphite on the bottom and about an inch above the chine (S&G Hard Chined.)

Also, I've heard this stuff can be a bear to sand once it's cured but, I like the idea of less resistance thru the water. What's the right grit paper on my orbital to use?
Thanks much for any help. My next step is to make the forms for the strip deck. With the hull done, I dont think I'll need a strong back and am planning on hot glueing the forms to the hull for support (I saw a website where a guy did something similar and the forms were only an inch or so thick (Center stuff cut out) to make strip clamping easier. Any ideas on how to go about this? There are no real plans to go by because I'm taking the Guillemot S&G and putting a strip deck on it using the Guillemot offsets from Nick's book (And a little doctoring of the numbers in AutoCAD to match the hull)
