Hey gang.
Well I'm back from jousting with a Trojan horse my computer picked up what a hassle. 5 degrees F here today after an ice storm. THe whole place was thunking and groaning as the wood started contracting rapidly.
Hey the roll of film just came back with boat pictures. I thought I'd share with you the most recent addition to our shop. Its been something that has worked very well.
Its a clamp station Rick put together for us. We often have 3 boats going and occasionally a cramped 4. Seems the clamps are always on the wrong boat. Moving clamps from one boat to another can get to be a hassle. Also when we are working the cockpit tends to be where every thing gets tossed. Hard to find the tools betwixed the clamps.
This clamp station holds at least 60 clamps of differing sizes, and kinds with room for more. There is a box up top for our finger clamps and clothes pins as well and the whole thing is on some wheels I found at the dump. They came out of an old secretarial chair.
So now we drive our clamp station from boat to boat as we need them. Its really been a cool addition to this boat shop!
HAve a great day! and don't get your fingers pinched
