I've always seen lots of racks on cars at used car dealerships. I'm tempted to go up to one of the salesmen with a $50 bill and ask for a particular rack. It doesn't make a darn bit of difference in the price they will sell the car for.

I second the eBay recommendation. Ski swaps and consignment stores are a good place to check, too.
