Yeah the cardboard thing worked out great. But I can't take credit for it. We have ahd a number of visitors to our shop here lately. Some kids learning basic woodworking. Some adults who wantto see how its done. Most are just checking out the wierd noises coming from the house up the road. The cardboard idea came from one of our walk throughs.

I had actually started stripping in the backing with scrap strips, when one of our walk throughs suggested using cardboard. Seems he was an old high school gear head. He mentioned that was the way they used to repair car bodies. Twas a good reminder that everyone has something to teach me.
