Today I glassed the other half of the hull. Now I understand that glassing is an art and a matter of experience. Until now I thought building a boat wasn't very challenging but glassing gave me a lesson. I did better with the second half though. Far fewer air pockets. I did not squeegee at all because the way I glassed I did not leave excess epoxy on the cloth. Things look good. I picked up two more air pockets. One at the stern and one at the bow. I think that it is ok. The rest of potential air pocket I worked with my finger. I will glass extra protection strips over this. My work with the cloth has improved. I hope that when I do the inside of the hull I will raise to the occassion and do a better job. The inside will be natural so air pockets will be a no-no. The outside will be painted so noone will every know.

Where will I buy syringes so that I can use them to perhaps fill the big air pockets with epoxy? Pygmy gave me 2 syringes but those are gone now. I went to Rite Aid today and every clerk probably thought I'm shooting heroin. Needless to say they did not sell me syringes. I wonder where to buy them?
