To all who are following the Arica's Silver Project there are seven new photos on the site showing my first attempt at working out the Deck Design. Even though the design as shown in the photos, to my eye is far from satisfactory, I thought I would share the photos as they show How I work out the design full size on the kayak before actually cutting the design into the deck. The design is supposed to resemble a Japanese Ink Brush Painting of Cherry Blossoms and although it does look like the orginal sketch I'm not pleased with the over all look, but since its only black masking tape and cut out construction paper all is not lost. So its back to the drawing board for attempt #2.
