: Russ here checking in from the hardest part of winter....
: Don't worry your pictures give us us the choosen frozen reason to belive.
: I actually commend you. That is the first picture I have ever seen of a sea
: kayak and a sagaro catus in the same time.

: The idea of sea kayaking in the desert......Huh! Who ever would a thunk it!

Someday I'm going to come to your neck of the woods for some summer paddling. We've got lots of options around here - only about 6 hours from Lake Powell, Baja, or San Diego, to say nothing of the local lakes. The boat (and its plastic mates) is going to get lots of roof rack time. Hoping for a 2 month trip to the northwest this summer including 3 weeks in Desolation Sound before Y2K2 in Port Townsend. (Please don't let my boss change his mind, he says reverently! :))

: PS Kayaks make great winter sleds! in deep powder :)

Unfortunately, the snowfall in the mountains has been really poor this year :( Suspect a number of our favorite whitewater runs will be *very* limited this summer.
