Today I flipped the boat over and started working on the inside. I started with a palm sander trying to sand seams smooth. After 1 hour of sanding I realized that I needed to do this outside. Because it was 9PM I decided to take the boat outside tomorrow morning (weather permitting) and sand the inside.

After this decision I still wanted to do some work so I mixed up epoxy with cabosil until I had it thick like peanut butter. I filleted the bow and stern with 8oz of epoxy. Then I mixed 3oz of epoxy and used a syringe to fill any wire holes on the inside of the boat. I still had some epoxy left over so I painted some of it on the outside of the boat where I still could feel a little bit of fiberglass weave.

Tomorrow will be a big sanding day. I think that it might take me a while to sand this all to my satisfaction. When I first started building the boat, reading the manual I had no idea what they meant about having the seams smooth but after getting cocky with the outside glass job and acquiring some air gaps I now know that I have to be really diligent with the sand job.
