Scraping Epoxy

I use a cabinet scraper for all but last bit of my epoxy smoothing. The best thing is the lack of dust flying around; all I get is thin curls of cured epoxy. With scraping you also don't have to wait until the epoxy has cured as far along as you do when you sand (i.e. if you don't wait long enough the sandpaper gums up). It is great for getting those nasty blobs at the end of an epoxy run.

Once you get the technique of sharpening the scraper things go quickly.
