Well, I finally did it. Fri March 1, I finally managed my very first roll ever in the Dagger Animas I use in the class, so I did a bunch more that night, then brought my Georgian Bay in last night to see if I could roll it too.
This was only the second time it has been in the water.
It wasn't nearly as easy, since there are no thigh/kneebraces, and the hip braces are kinda loose too. On top of all that, I think I need to drop my seat a little, cuz I feel a little "high in the saddle". Anyway, as you can see in the pic, the deed was done, though the more observant of you will see why it was possible for such a newbie roller to manage in such a poorly fitted boat.
I know that once I get my boat outfitted properly, I'll be able to haul it up as easily as the Dagger, (and without prosthetics).
Can't wait for summer! That chlorine is killin me!
