S&G: Air bubble's in epoxy seal coat...one more time

Hi folks, thanks for all the great info on this bulletin board! It has definately been helping me in the building of my first boat - a Pygmy Goldeneye. I'm currently glassing the deck of the boat and have a question regarding air bubbles in the first sealing coat of epoxy. I've also run a search on air bubbles on the board and have yet to find my answer so here goes...

Basically I did the coat by rolling on the epoxy using a thin foam roller and then tipping out with a foam brush to break any air bubbles. Temp in the room was about 65 degrees to start and fell through the curing period to about 55 degrees (the boat is in my barn in a plastic enclosed area heated with an electric space heater). Two hour after the coat was applied, I came back and found a lot of pinhead sized bubbles on top of the coat (they are very small and can be felt if you run your hand over them). I've tried to simply use a cabinet scraper (great tip!) to knock them down in a test area but have found that I am left with a slightly opaque dot where the bubble was that doesn't quite go away when wetted down with water. (I've found that the best way to test if a sanded/scraped area will become clear after the next coat of epoxy is to run a slightly damp cloth over it.)

I'm praying that I this isn't a delamination problem but would love to hear any input. I'm also wondering if I really need to be obsessive about knocking down these bubbles at this point or if the glassing and fill coats will cover them.

Thanks for any help.
