Strip: Suggestions for Fitting Bulkheads?

Hi,

Finally have the hull and deck glassed both sides and the reccessed cockpit finshed! It is so tempting to join 'em when they are just sitting there begging for it. But have 4 interior bulkheads to install first (front, rear, day hatch and a little one to block off the bow) my forms needed quite a bit of adjustment to make the boat fair and even they don't go in the places I want the bulkheads (some are real close of course). I have read about this and I am a cartenter so I know I can just "do it", but I really don't have any good plan at all in my head and thought maybe one of you guys who "get" this could give me a brain wave or 2. Like what's a good method for making the joint at the deck right, should I make it a little on the "loose" side and then "fill" it to the deck after install?

Thanks, Joe
