I'm done glassing the deck and hull of the Guillemot I'm building and have applied two coats epoxy resin with a roller tipping it off with a foam brush each time to fill the weave. It looks great but I can still see the weave in a few spots. Won't the spar varnish fill the remaining few spots ? Or should I touch up only those spot areas? I'd rather not apply a third coat to the whole deck and hull I'm afraid the boat might be getting pretty heavy.
