Cabinet scrapers are by far the best tools for removing epoxy runs and dust bumps. With just overnight of cure on the epoxy it is really quite easy to shave off the epoxy but it is still worth while scraping after full cure. A scraper is not only faster than sanding, but even more importantly you can remove just the drip without sanding into the glass around it.

: I spent the day glassing the hull (first timer!) of my Expedition Sport
: yesterday and clearly used way too much epoxy. There seem to be a lot of
: runs & drips.

: Am I right to sand these down ? It seems too much for a "fairing
: board" and I'm thinking that it looks like a job for a oscillating
: disk sander and 60 grit paper?

: I'd appreciate the forum advice before the epoxy sets too hard!

: Thanks

: Chas
