Strip: My Deck Woes *Pic*

Here's a shot of what I've been wrestling with. I finally like the pattern. It's just incredibly slow going. I'm still finalizing the miter boxes I'm using to cut out all these shapes. I can see I'm going to lose my mind on this one. I also had some trouble finding the right shades of wood. I think it's going to be okay but I have a batch of cedar strips that ended up being way too light. I've also got some problems with accuracy - the white shapes are varying distances from the dark line... But, if there's one thing I learned from doing the feature strip on my hull it's that all the effort shows and, even if it's not perfect, it still looks great.

Anyway, wish me luck. Only 19' to the other end of the boat :D
