I'm just about ready to order a the 4X8 folfing trailer. It has an overall length of about 11 feet whick must leave about 3 feet from the trailer tot eh hitch.

In order to get hte trailer under the middle of my 17 foot G, I will need to have 4 to 5 feet hanging ofer each end.

Anyone (expecially those with one of these bolt together trailers) see any reason why the tongue could not be exteded an additional 4 feet (to 7) to allow for 4 foot of boat overhand and 3 feet of clearance?

Any suggestions on how to do it?
