From what I have read the Pygmy/CLC kayaks threads have been beat to death so please bear with me. I have little woodworking skills but would like to try my hand at a stitch and glue kayak. After reading countless threads about both I still have a question. I have read of a few people having trouble getting there hull to the right shape and they have had to use weights ect. I have never had a good eye for such things the Pygmy on the other hand looks like it uses temporary "forms" for the hull to keep the shape. Does this make building easier? Or is the hull just as easy to assemble on the CLC kayaks? Thanks for any help,
