: I wouldn't worry about it for a day or so. When did you do the two coats?

I put the first layer on Saturday and the second Sunday. The epoxy was cured because it was not tacky, but as I said, the excess seemed too flexible. I hope it hardens up and provides the stiffness needed.

:Good to hear that the 5
: oz. cloth has worked out so well. Did Larry give you any tips on it's use
: when you talked to him? Anything out of the ordinary?

I haven't talked to Larry about it since I put it on. When I ordered it he said the cloth was very highly recommended and that it would be stronger than the six ounce. The pleasant surprise was the long pot life of the epoxy. I felt like I had plenty of time to get it applied and smoothed out. That was much better than on my previous boat when I had fast curing epoxy going on with the temperature in the garage at 95 degrees - it was like the chocolate factory scene from "I Love Lucy". Thanks for you input. -Scott

Raka seems to take longer to cure

Just let it sit a bit. It gets harder in time
