Hi Tom,

This very thought really worried me and I did feel bad about taking it. I even ask Russ what he thought about it when I got back home. Something I didn't take was a water plant from the BWCA. I collect water plants from all over to put in my pond. I found a very unique plant laying on the bottom about 6 feet down in the water that I would have to dive for. I marked it with the GPS to come back later if I decided to take it. I have books with all kinds of water plants in them but this one wasn't in any of them. After spending 10 days in this region and never seeing another plant like it I absolutely wasn't going to take it. But I will never forget what it looked like. If you can immagine a fox's tail down in the water depths that is about the size and what it looked like.
