Chip,
I'm the middle one in 3 generations or more of putterers. My son made a forge from a brake drum, a drain cover, and a vacuum blower. I told him to look for chunks of coal along the railroad tracks, like I used to when I was a kid. That forge really cooks! Unfortunately he tries things like melting down silverware to make his girlfriend a ring. He just wants to make everything himself. Don't know where he gets it! - Scott
